Brownies with Walnuts

For about 16 pieces (2”x 2“square)

Ingredients:
9 oz. (250g) bittersweet or semisweet chocolate, chopped
6 oz. (170g) unsalted butter
6 oz. (170g) sugar
4 large eggs
1/2 cup (2 oz. /60g) all-purpose flour
1/2 oz. (60g) almond flour or mill
1 cup (4 oz. /110g) walnut, chopped

Preheat the oven to 350º F (175ºC), butter a 9-inch square baking pan and lightly dust it with
½ flour and ½ cocoa powder mixture.

In medium-sized bowl set over a pan of simmering water (bain-marie), melt the chocolate and
the butter. Remove from heat.

Whip the eggs and sugar until lightly thick, and then whip into the chocolate mixture.
Hold in the flour and almond flour. Hold in walnut and pistachio and pour in batter in to
a baking pan.

Bake about 25-30 minutes. Let the brownie cool in the pan on a rack.
Remove from the pan cut into squares.
